Vasundhara – symbolizing Mother Earth – is KSRA’s initiative to promote climate-resilient livelihoods, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable natural resource management among Adivasi and rural communities. With a deep-rooted commitment to preserving the balance between people and nature, Vasundhara strengthens traditional ecological knowledge, sustainable agriculture practices, and environmental stewardship to build climate-resilient villages.
Objectives

Promote climate-resilient agriculture and allied practices for small and marginal farmers.

Enhance community-based forest and water resource governance.

Reduce dependence on chemical inputs and promote organic, regenerative farming systems.

Build capacities of local youth and farmers as climate leaders and resource persons.

Promotion of kitchen gardens, backyard poultry, solar irrigation, and low-input farming. -
Forest and Water Governance
Support for CFR claims, forest mapping, and participatory planning under Gram Sabha. -
Innovation & Technology Use
Pilot use of biofertilizers, low-cost agri-tools, drip irrigation, and solar dryers. -
Convergence and Advocacy
Facilitate access to government schemes, forest rights, and agri-welfare entitlements.
