Sustainable Agriculture

We are committed to promoting sustainable agriculture that aligns with climate change adaptation and is deeply rooted in gender equity. Our approach integrates globally recognized frameworks such as Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA), Agroecology, and Regenerative Agriculture to enhance productivity, build resilience, and reduce emissions while preserving biodiversity and ecosystem health. We adopt the Sustainable Livelihoods Approach (SLA) to strengthen women’s access to natural, financial, and social resources and the Moser Gender Planning Framework to address women’s unique roles and strategic needs in agricultural systems. Guided by the Gender-Responsive Climate Adaptation Framework (GCAF), we ensure equitable participation and benefit-sharing for women in climate-resilient farming practices. Additionally, we uphold the principles of the Provisions of the Panchayats (Extension to Scheduled Areas) Act (PESA) to empower local governance and foster participatory decision-making. Through this comprehensive and inclusive approach, we aim to transform agriculture into a tool for climate action, community empowerment, and sustainable development.
