KSRA actively works to ensure the safety and well-being of every child by addressing critical issues such as abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Through education, community sensitization, and collaboration with local authorities, we strengthen protective frameworks and create safer environments. Our focus includes building awareness about children’s rights, providing support to vulnerable families, and linking them to government welfare schemes to prevent exploitation and promote holistic child development.

Stopping child marriage

KSRA is aiming to eradicate child marriage from its districts by 2030 through community mobilization, awareness campaigns, legal advocacy, and empowering girls to stay in school and make informed choices about their future.

Child health and nutrition

Karra Society for Rural Action is committed to the health and nutrition of young children through initiatives like the child crèche in Lapung block, catering to children from 7 months to 3 years. By providing healthcare access, nutrition programs, and raising awareness on preventive measures, we ensure the physical and mental well-being of children, preparing them for a healthy future through seamless transitions to anganwadi services.
