Gramodaya

KSRA strengthens local governance in Jharkhand through community participation, Gram Sabha empowerment, Panchayati Raj support, and rights-based development.
About the Project
"Strengthening village-level governance for participatory development."
Gramodaya, meaning "village upliftment," is KSRA’s flagship initiative to strengthen grassroots democratic institutions, enable participatory planning, and empower marginalized communities to actively engage in local governance. Rooted in the principles of the Constitution and the PESA Act (1996), this initiative ensures that the voices of Adivasi communities, especially women, are centered in decisions that impact their lives and natural resources.
