KSRA as a nongovernmental organization was promoted by a group of young social workers, intellectuals, highly committed and deeply involved in the development of poor in rural and urban areas. KSRA mission is to help building up self-sustaining and self-reliant communities belonging to both rural and urban areas with major thrust on the development of tribals in the region of Jharkhand through initiatives as an integral part of development spectrum with focus on empowerment of deprived and poor.
